Wayne Dyer – Signs and Symptoms of Inner Peace

I was sad to hear of the passing of the great Wayne Dyer.  His legacy lives on in his many books and CDs.  I have enjoyed many of his books and found them so helpful in keeping my thoughts in a positive healing place.  The excerpt below comes from his book You’ll See it When You Believe It.

You’ll See It When You Believe It: The Way to Your Personal Transformation

Some Signs and Symptoms of Inner Peace

  • A tendency to think and act spontaneously rather than on fears based on past experiences

  • An unmistakable ability to enjoy each moment

  • A loss of interest in judging other people

  • A loss of interest in interpreting the actions of others

  • A loss of interest in conflict

  • A loss of the ability to worry

  • Frequent, overwhelming episodes of appreciation

  • Contented feelings of connectedness with others and nature

  • Frequent attacks of smiling

  • An increased susceptibility to the love extended by others as well as the unrecognizable urge to extend it

The sooner we find and maintain our inner peace the closer we are to healing.   Cancer does not breed in a person that sustains a higher level of thinking.

  1. I love this. Still working on many of these points, but do often find myself breaking out in a smile for no obvious reason.
